DIY Diva: Coming soon to HGTV

Wanna see something kind of funny and brilliant??

I had a problem to solve regarding some new lights in the hall:  the jaggedy drywall that wasn't covered by the base.  I thought about patching the drywall somehow or adding a thin wooden circle and painting it white to blend in with the ceiling.  Then my mom casually said something like: "you know a margarine lid would almost do the trick".  Well, margarine is gross, so at first I just gagged a little, then I grabbed a honey pail lid and some antique bronze spray paint I already had and gave it a try.  I myself am amazed at the results!

KA-CHOW!

(so now I'm going to call HGTV and we're gonna have a little chat - it's just that brilliant!)
