A Week in Pictures (Week 8)

Ezra took a picture of us on the highway on our way to Burlington.
I feel so brave (crazy) taking all 4 kids anywhere.

Trying an entry way carpet.

I visited our local farmers market.
I felt sheepish taking a picture so I took this on the sly with my cell phone.

I think I have pictures of my kids working every week.
Olive almost always chooses to fold a basket of laundry as one of her chores.

I had to take a picture of Olive after sparks. She loves pink.

We watched The Sound of Music.
Surprisingly everyone made it through the whole thing.

Trying curtains. White or funky blue?

My favourite part of the week? Seth was uncomfortable at his swimming lesson so Ezra got into the pool and helped.
It was adorable.
Ezra is often doing kind things like that.
Also having a family from church over for dinner.
(By the way- they know you, Jane. Western days.)

Yikes, I just wanted to add to my first comment, so now it looks like i said something inapropriate and had to remove it!

I have questions! Did you keep the carpet? Which curtains are you going with? Who is the family? It's such a small world!

I love that we are doing this! It's so great seeing what you are up to each week!

Oh my, i'm having trouble, now it posted my 2nd comment twice! And i don't know how to spell innapropriate. Maybe this way. The other one looks odd.

I like the blue curtain better in that space.
If you went with the blue then you might want to replace the area rug under the table. It is difficult to tell for sure, but it seems the patterned blue adds interest and colour to the space.

Jane- you are missing the double p in inappropriate.
As for answers: We are not going to keep the entryway carpet- too big. Poor Mike will lug that beast back to the store. The blue curtains look better in the picture but I prefer the white in real life. I will call you about the family because I'm not sure how they feel about being blogged about. I will have to ask them.
Megan- I agree with the blue adding interest. It's just that when they are closed it's a lot of pattern. Maybe I will take some more pictures so you can see what I mean. Now I need a "country romance" light to go above the table. Ideas?
